Taking time out of the day to sit down, enjoy a cup of coffee, a homemade treat, and good conversation is a ritual started by our grandmother, Leona. After school we would often stop at our grandparent’s house for coffee and a cookie or a brownie or a slice of rhubarb cake—really, whatever delicious treat she baked that day. This ritual inspired a lifetime love of baking and is the inspiration behind our bakery—Rosebud Bakery is named in honor of Leona, who was born and raised in Rosebud County, Montana.
